EKOME announced its new collaboration with the Aegean Film Festival and actively supported the Location Greece conference.
The main objective of this collaboration was to promote dialogue between Greek and foreign professionals, focusing on the emergence of Greece as a favourite destination for filming. Through the networking of producers, investors, location managers, and experts that participated in the conference, the country was promoted in an environment that organizers aspire to become, with the valuable support of EKOME, an annual meeting point for the international film community.
In the two-day conference, EKOME participated actively with Stelios Kraounakis, Head of the Investment Incentives and Financing Department, and an extensive presentation concerning the financing program of EKOME, the operation of the Cash Rebate & Tax Relief incentives, and all the tools that EKOME offers the audiovisual industry professionals during the submission of their proposals. Moreover, talks were held with participants and professionals aiming to explain and highlight all issues of attraction, financing, and professional support of foreign audiovisual producers in our country.

The conference took place on July 20 and 21, in Spetses, and included speeches, presentations, panels, and a very long list of films screened as part of the program of the 10th Aegean Film Festival. During the festival, an educational workshop for location managers was held, under the auspices of the Greek Film Centre.
